This page explains how a single data entry might be reused hundreds of times from other list creators.

All activities, events & lists are connected. This means that each card can be copied from one list to another list. Because all the content is user-generated certain events or activities will be reused hundreds of times.

However, as so often with the long-tail phenomena on the internet there will be a natural selection of top content and top users. End-users are able to unsubscribe lists and unfollow users at any time.

Top lists will find followers because it helps users to stay informed in the most simple way. Content producers (list creators) will grow their influence as they are tastemakers. At some point in the future event hosts or businesses will pay the list creator to be part of lists that have a big followership.
